UPDATE | Man found dead in mobile home in Jenkins County identified

JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A body found inside a mobile home on Highway 25 South back in July has been identified.

Jenkins County Coroner's Office said the man is Tony Collins, 63. The coroner said the scene did not appear to be suspicious, but they are awaiting the autopsy to be sure.

Collins' manner of death is pending toxicology reports.

JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Investigators are looking into the death of a man in a mobile home on Highway 25 South in Jenkins County.

According to the Jenkins County Coroner, the man was found around 3 p.m. Monday.

It is currently unclear at this time the circumstances surrounding the unidentified man's death. The coroner says the scene does not appear to be suspicious, but they are awaiting the autopsy to be sure.

The body was transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur for an autopsy.
