AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A film made in Augusta makes its premiere on the popular streaming service, Netflix.

"Savannah Sunrise" tells the story of a workaholic mom and her family-oriented mother-in-law as they are "thrown together on a disaster-prone road trip that turns into a life lesson for both."

The film stars Shawnee Smith (Saw, Becker, Anger Management) and Pamela Reed (Kindergarten Cop, Parks and Recreation).

Mark Crump with Augusta-based Reflecting Pool Productions said in a Facebook post that even though the cast looked like they were all over the country, the principal shots of the movie were filmed right here, including the road conversation scenes that were filmed on I-520.

"If you were a part of it or just love this city, then watch this movie!!!" said Crump.

The movie is rated TV-G and is described as a family comedy. It's streaming now on Netflix.
