UPDATE | Man in hospital; woman arrested after stabbing on East Telfair Street

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Deputies say one person was stabbed after a domestic dispute on East Telfair Street.

Richmond County deputies say they were called to the home around 11 pm Tuesday evening in reference to a domestic dispute. They say when they arrived they found the victim, 28-year-old Ronnie Ross, had been stabbed with a knife by 29-year-old Jennifer Maloyd.

Deputies say Ross was transported to Augusta University Medical Center and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Maloyd was later transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center, according to law enforcement.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A stabbing has occurred in Augusta.

Authorities say the stabbing happened at 201 E. Telfair St., Augusta, and at least one victim was found.

Richmond County Dispatch confirms the call came in at 11:18 p.m. We are working to confirm other details.
