Aiken woman arrested, accused of killing mother

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An Aiken County woman is under arrest, accused of killing her mother.

Aiken county deputies responded to a call on Nov. 30, 2016 for a deceased person, according an incident report. Upon arrival, the responding deputies met with the 911 caller, Quereyanna Jimerson, 35, who informed them that her mother had been missing since 4:20 p.m. and that she found her in the back yard of a home on Alpine Drive.

Jimerson also told deputies that her mother did have diminished mental capacity, according to the incident report.

On Jan. 9, investigators arrested Jimerson for murder. Jimerson was already incarcerated in the Aiken County Detention Center since Dec. 25 for charges unrelated to the death investigation, according to the report.
